What is a charm in Diablo Immortal? A charm is an object that gets upgraded and gives major boosts to various skills on your character. Charms can be found all throughout Diablo Immortal in Various Locations. You can buy charms at Hilts Trader, they drop in open world farming, Challenge Rifts, Elder Rifts, and Dungeons.
Charms start out at Level 1 and you rank them up to Rank 5 which makes them become a Grand Charm. Once you have a Grand Charm you can then equip it to your character and boost your %damage bonus on specific skills on the Grand Charm.
How do you make a Grand Charm? To make a grand charm you will drop simple charms while playing Diablo Immortal. Once you have acquired simple charms you then need to make a decision if you want to keep the charm and rank it up to a grand charm or salvage the charm for Alchemical Powder to rank up other gems you decide to keep.

Upgrading charms serve two different purposes. You can upgrade charms to try and get the exact skills you use for your build or you can upgrade charms and then extract the charm for skill stones to sell on the marketplace.
Upgrading your charms is easy. You need 8 simple charms to get a Grand Charm. Once you salvage 8 simple charms you can then use that alchemical dust to create a Grand Charm which is the highest level charm in Diablo Immortal.
It's OKAY that your first Grand Charm does not have to have all the skills you use on your character's current build. You can imbue a charm and get a chance to replace a certain skill with a skill from the skill stone you imbued. As you can see from the example below you select the skill you want to upgrade or replace and then select okay. Once it rolls, it will give you the option to take the new skill or if you get an upgraded skill what the % value will be.
Upgrading charms can be tricky and tedious. Unfortunately you will have to battle 2 different RNG chances to get the highest possible % skill damage for each skill on your grand charm. The first RNG chance is to roll the skill you want both to replace the current skill in the slot or if you want to upgrade that % damage modifier. The second chance is once you roll a skill charm if you succeed with the first RNG chance you then have the RNG chance of your % modifier rolling from 2% to %10 max for the Skill% modifier. Unfortunately you are not guaranteed to increase the %skill damage for each time you succeed with the double RNG chance.
To put the amount of skill stones needed to get a higher % skill damage modifier the Grand Charm shown to the left had the following used on it.
- 10 Vengeance Skill Stones
- 14 Knockback Shots
- 6 Crossbow Shots
- 3 Multishots
